B-VENT IMPROVEMENTS

We are improving the lock on our B-Vent raincaps to ensure that they stay assembled with the B-Vent when subject to the high winds experienced in some areas. The improvements include the following:

1. The Raincap collars will be standardized with four (4) deeper dimples to match up with the four (4) notches in the male end of the B-Vent. To install the raincap, align the four (4) dimples on the raincap collar with the four (4) notches on the male end of the B-Vent. Push on raincap tight to the B-Vent and rotate the raincap 1/8 turn in either direction. The deeper dimples lock under the curled male end of the B-Vent as before and provide a more secure joint.
   Note: The Raincap can also be installed the old way, without aligning the dimples, just push the Raincap on until the dimples snap under the curled male end of the B-Vent.
   
   

2. The 6", 7", and 8" B-Vent will be manufactured with four (4) notches on the male end like the 3", 4", and 5" B-Vent.
