About ECCO

Our Story – Every Part is Important

In 1960, ECCO started in a garage with two partners, an Irish-born engineer and a German-born sheet metal contractor who believed they could produce better quality parts than what was available locally. One year later they moved from their garage into a manufacturing shop and never looked back.

A new manufacturing site in Langley, BC opened in 1975, followed by distribution centres across western Canada. In 1995 we expanded our operations in the U.S. by opening a distribution plant and we also opened our largest manufacturing and distribution plant in Calgary, Alberta. Kent, Washington started manufacturing operations in 2015, adding to our U.S. distribution capabilities.
